Almus wins Generic Innovation of the Decade award
26th October 2010
Almus, the Group's range of generic medicines, was awarded "Pharmacy Business Generic Innovation of the Decade" at the Pharmacy Business Awards recently held in London. The award was presented to Tony Foreman (Commercial Director, Alliance Healthcare Division) by Andrew Lansley, UK Secretary of State for Health, and Ramnikal Solanki, Editor-in-Chief of Pharmacy Business magazine.
Almus won the award in recognition of innovation in packaging design and patient safety. The accolade recognises that Almus broke the mould in the UK with the introduction of coloured packaging for generic medicines and that Almus has continued to innovate for the benefit of pharmacists and patients. Tony commented: "We are delighted to win this award which recognises the creativity and hard work that has gone into building the Almus brand over the last decade."
